Are QuickDry Patio Furniture Cushions Worth the Expense?

Don’t you hate waiting for your cushions to dry or rushing out to put them away at the first sign of rain? Most of us do, which is why we offer the option to outfit your patio furniture with Cabana Coast’s QuickDry foam padding. It’s the best stuff we offer. Here, let us explain why.

1. QuickDry foam is 2.2 high density

OHL Patio 1Why does this matter? Wouldn’t a high density cushion hold the moisture?

Foam density is basically the measurement of how much air is in the foam. Higher density means better foam.

These higher density foams tend to last longer because little air gets trapped inside the foam, and since  moist air is actually the cause of moisture damage to cushions, not the water itself, you avoid most of the damage.

By comparison, premium foam cushions have a density of 1.8, and that’s already very high. The cushion you got at a box store may have a density of 0.5.

2. The best quality available

Both QuickDry foam and premium foam are made with the highest quality material. These two types of cushions are mold and mildew resistant, however, the big difference between the two materials is that QuickDry foam has that superior water drainage.

3. It will resist the elements for years and years

It can be a nuisance to buy cushions every season, year after year.

QuickDry patio furniture cushions will stand up to heavy use and angry elements for years.

Because of the high-density foam and the ability for the liquid to flow quickly through the foam, the cushions won’t degrade like cheaper cushions will. Even with wear and tear over the years they will still dry quickly and maintain mold resistance.

4. It’s not just the foam, but the way it’s configured

OHL 22The high-performance design allows water to quickly flow through the foam. The foam itself already allows great liquid flow, but it’s also been designed with a unique structure that helps facilitate water flow.

This means less water gets trapped inside making it easier for the cushions to dry. Like the name suggests, these cushions will dry quicker than premium foam cushions.

5. QuickDry foam immediately drains

QuickDry foam immediately drains water through the whole piece of foam. This is due to its large, open channels that allow water to drain and fresh air to circulate freely without actually penetrating the structure of the foam.

With premium foam, the water flows over the top and down the sides. This means the cushion takes longer to absorb and process the water.

QuickDry patio furniture cushions are revolutionary, and any homeowner with a good set of patio furniture should consider upgrading this summer. You’ll be glad you did!
