About Oakville Home Leisure
Hot tubs, Billiards, Patio Furniture and more
For over 25 years, we have operated with a dedication to offering you-our customer- an unwavering level of personal service that can only come from a family-run business. We remain dedicated to the same values today. We are proud to be a family-run business, and to continue to offer you the same family values and exceptional personal service for which we are now famous.
When we first opened in 1988 as Beachcomber Oakville, Beachcomber was the best hot tub on the market, made right in Canada. It was such a good product; we built our entire business around it and sold little else. Beachcomber continues its success as the finest hot tub available, it is still made in Canada, and it is the only line of hot tubs we offer.
Since then, we have grown into a full home leisure retailer, offering a wide range of quality products for your complete home enjoyment experience. Our showroom is a dynamic and interactive space where you can test soak a hot tub, play billiards on the finest tables, throw some darts, shoot a game of foosball, sit under a market umbrella or relax in a variety of classic garden furniture suites.
You can trust the expertise
We have built up our products offerings over the past 25 years to provide you with the absolute best options – whether you are looking to put the final touch on your games room, or you want to create an entire outdoor living space. We are very proud of our dedicated and knowledgeable employees, and we make sure they have the up-to-date product knowledge you need to make the right decision.

Meet the team
Greg has spent some 40+ years working in the Retail Industry. Starting first as a Buyer and leaving as an Executive Vice President, Greg opened the doors of Oakville Home Leisure in 1999 along with his Son and Business Partner, Jay. With hard work and a solid Business plan, the Father-Son team has been able to elevate Oakville Home Leisure into the Business it is today. A proud Father of 3 and Grandfather of 9, when he’s not at the store you can find Greg vacationing with his Wife, Arlene, in Florida in the Winter months or on the Golf Course. If you asked Greg how he’s doing, he might say that if he was doing any better, he might be arrested.
Jay graduated from the University of Guelph’s Bachelor of Commerce program in 1997. Having worked as a Pool Builder during his Summer’s off from Guelph University, Jay was able to learn about the Leisure Business literally from the ground up. With a tremendous knowledge of the industry, Jay opened Oakville Home Leisure in the Fall of 1999 along with his Father, Greg. The rest is History.
A lot has changed for Jeremy since he cost us $2100 in damages for jackknifing the trailer at our old location. The former Summer-Student employee forayed into the world of Corporate Communications working as an Account Manager for 5 years before returning fulltime in 2012. All grown up, Jeremy now spearheads the Advertising Department amongst other responsibilities at Oakville Home Leisure.
Backed with a strong technical background of Beachcomber and their products, Jason came to OHL in 2003. Since then, Jason has immersed himself in all aspects of the business; Sales, Service, and Technical Support. A leader and a key member of our Staff, Jason’s unparalleled enthusiasm and expertise for the Leisure Industry is the reason why so many Families across Ontario have purchased from us and continue to shop with Oakville Home Leisure.
Alex “The Alligator” Gayford was trained and certified at the Beachcomber Hot Tub Factory in 2009 then worked as a Service Technician in Vancouver. If you have a leaky pump, if your tub has an error code, or if you are looking for some advice on Service, Alex is your go-to guy for everything and anything service related.
